15 Jan 2026

Newly-appointed Scotland Head Coach Sione Fukofuka has named 15 Glasgow Warriors in a 50-strong playing group, which will convene at Oriam for the first alignment camp of 2026.

14 players from the Glasgow Warriors core squad will be joined by Beth Blacklock, the Saracens centre having represented Lindsey Smith’s side in their two most recent Celtic Challenge outings.

A total of 13 of the 14 Warriors invited to the week-long camp are uncapped, with openside Gemma Bell the sole capped player after making her senior international debut in the 2025 Guinness Six Nations.

Holland Bogan is named amongst the group after becoming the inaugural women’s winner of the One Four Nine Wealth Warrior of the Month, whilst Sky Phimister’s electric start to the Celtic Challenge campaign sees the winger – who sits joint top of the try-scoring charts after three rounds – selected.

A host of Warriors to have impressed for Scotland U20 last summer are amongst the cohort selected, including Poppy Fletcher and Emily Norval, who each led their country at the U20 Six Nations Summer Series.

Ceitidh Ainsworth and Nicole Flynn join Stirling County team-mates Bogan and Phimister in the training group, whilst Gemma Thomson and Poppy Mellanby are both included after impressive campaigns for Scotland U18 last season.

Emily Coubrough, Megan Hyland and Imogen Spence are all invited following standout starts to the Celtic Challenge in the Glasgow pack, with Rianna Darroch having likewise impressed behind the scrum.

The Glasgow cohort is rounded out by Hannah Smyth, the winger second only to Phimister for tries scored by a Warrior so far in the 2025/26 Celtic Challenge.
