Spence and Flynn in line for Scotland debuts

The duo are named amongst the replacements for the match, with prop Spence and centre Flynn having each caught the eye with their performances in Glasgow colours during the 2025/26 Celtic Challenge.

Interim Head Coach Dave Butcher has named a total of eight Warriors in his squad for this weekend’s clash, with Aicha Sutcliffe promoted from the replacements to make her first senior start for Scotland at hooker.

She joins Anne Young and Elliann Clarke in an all-Glasgow front row, both props having been prominent with ball in hand throughout the WXV campaign to date.

Holland Bogan continues in the second row, lining up in the engine room to win her ninth cap for her country.

Ceitidh Ainsworth and Lucia Scott join Spence and Flynn amongst the replacements, with Scott set for her first appearance of the WXV Global Series after missing out on last month’s internationals in Edinburgh due to injury.

Kick-off on Friday is scheduled for 9.45am, and can be streamed live on RugbyPass TV.
