Ten Warriors selected for Scotland’s WXV squad
4 Aug 2026Ten Glasgow Warriors have been selected in the Scotland squad for the inaugural Vodafone Scotland WXV Series, with three players in line to make their international debuts.
Fly-half Ceitidh Ainsworth, centre Nicole Flynn and prop Imogen Spence will all be hoping to earn their first senior international caps during the tournament.
All three impressed in Glasgow colours during last season’s Celtic Challenge campaign, with their inclusion recognising a series of standout performances throughout the competition.
Joining the uncapped trio in the squad are Holland Bogan and Aicha Sutcliffe, both of whom made their international debuts during this year’s 6 Nations following stand out performances in a Warriors shirt.
Bogan earns another call-up having been named Players’ Player of the Season at last season’s Glasgow Warriors Awards Dinner, while Sutcliffe was recognised as Coaches’ Player of the Season.
Elliann Clarke, Rhea Clarke, Lucia Scott, Evie Wills and Anne Young’s inclusion mean it is the highest number of Warriors ever selected in a Scotland Women’s squad.
All five have signed for the club ahead of the 2026/27 Celtic Challenge season and will bring their international experience to new Head Coach Robbie Fergusson’s squad.
