Wills to make first start of WXV campaign
24 Sep 2026Evie Wills will make her first appearance of the 2026 WXV campaign this weekend, after the Glasgow Warriors centre was selected in the starting XV to take on Australia in Edinburgh.
The Stirling County product – who joined Glasgow Warriors this summer from PWR side Sale Sharks – will win her 11th cap for her country when she lines up in the number 13 jersey this Saturday, as Scotland host the world’s ninth-ranked side.
Wills is one of six Warriors selected in the matchday 23, with Ceitidh Ainsworth retained at scrum-half after making her first start for Scotland in last weekend’s clash with New Zealand.
Anne Young continues at loose-head prop after an impactful showing against the Black Ferns last time out, joining club-mate Elliann Clarke in the front-row to form a dynamic ball-carrying duo as the props.
Holland Bogan lines up in the second-row for her first run-out against the Wallaroos, whilst Aicha Sutcliffe completes the cohort of Warriors selected after being selected amongst the replacements.
Scotland take on Australia at Hive Stadium this weekend, with kick-off scheduled for 4.10pm – you can watch the action live on BBC ALBA.
