Sutcliffe in line for Scotland debut

Glasgow Warriors hooker Aicha Sutcliffe could make her senior Scotland debut this weekend, after being selected amongst the replacements for this weekend's Guinness Six Nations clash with France in Edinburgh.

The Huntly RFC product has been a fixture in the front row for the Warriors throughout the last two Celtic Challenge campaigns, impressing in her outings in this season’s competition to earn a first-ever Scotland call-up ahead of this year’s tournament.

Elsewhere, Holland Bogan will make her first start for Scotland after being selected on the blindside flank by Head Coach Sione Fukofuka, having impressed in her three outings in the tournament to date.

Emily Coubrough is selected on the bench after recovering from a head injury sustained against England, the back-rower wearing the number 20 jersey for the visit of the French to Edinburgh.

Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 4.15pm on Saturday, with supporters able to watch the match live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
