McCrea Financial Services support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity as 2024/25 charity partner

The longest serving sponsor of Glasgow Warriors - McCrea Financial Services - are delighted to announce that they have chosen the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity - the official charity partner of Glasgow Warriors - as one of their 2024/25 charity partners; as chosen by Stafford McDowall for his November Warrior of the Month winner charity donation pick!

The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity help to provide the best possible care for young patients at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital by funding life-changing equipment, support services and research.

Being in their 17^th year as club sponsor and sponsoring the fan-voted McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award, this season McCrea introduced an extra incentive for the monthly award winner; a donation to a charity of the winners choice.

Since 2008 McCrea have raised over £700,000 for various charities, having raised a combined £43,060 total for their 2023/24 charity partners The Emma Cameron Foundation and Glasgow Care Foundation. In November 2023 McCrea were awarded the ‘Best Community Service Endeavor’ award by the MFG Supplier Awards 2023, which recognises the work that Financial Service Organisations do in the voluntary sector, with judges noting the great importance that McCrea place on charitable causes.

With the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity being the club’s nominated charity partner, Glasgow Warriors and Scotland centre Stafford McDowall recently visited the hospital to meet some of the amazing team behind the scenes and was delighted that McCrea have chosen to support the charity for their upcoming fundraising year, which tee’s off with their 14^th Annual Charity Golf Day on 25 April.

‘’Obviously it was great to win the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award back in November and have the chance to help out the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity with the monthly donation from McCrea’’ said McDowall.

‘’The charity have become a massive part of the club with our upcoming home match against the Sharks on Friday 19 April being our designated ‘Plaster it Purple’ game for the season

‘’It was amazing to hear that off the back of the charity donation pick, McCrea have decided to partner with the charity for their forthcoming charity fundraising year.

‘’The work that the Glasgow Children’s Hospital do for the local community in Glasgow and across Scotland is massive, and having seen all the hard work of the staff and how they take care of the children first-hand when the club visited the hospital over Christmas, means it’s brilliant to play a part in giving back to the charity alongside McCrea. ‘’
