Having initially come on board in the summer of 2018, the Glasgow-founded company has seen the club grown both on and off the field, supporting the club on their run to a first-ever European final in 2023 and the historic BKT United Rugby Championship title in 2024 over the last decade.
A keen developer of young talent, the two organisations have worked hand in hand in recent seasons on projects including the recent rebranding of the coaches box at Scotstoun and the renovation of the crow’s nest production area utilised on matchdays.
Mackenzie Construction have also lent their support to the club’s charitable work off the field, including sponsoring this year’s charity dinner at Glaschu in support of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity – part of the club’s Fighting For Our Families campaign that has to date raised over £250,000 for the cause.
Andy Dalrymple, Managing Director of Mackenzie Construction, said: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Glasgow Warriors as the club’s Official Civil Engineering Partner, as we move into our ninth year.
“It has been great to support the club both on and off the pitch over the years. We were proud to be behind the team through their first-ever European final in 2023 and the historic BKT United Rugby Championship title in 2024, and this year we were pleased to sponsor the charity dinner for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
“People development and young talent remain at the heart of what we share with the club, and we look forward to building on that together over the coming years.”
Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Kenny Brown, added: “We’re pleased to extend our partnership with Mackenzie Construction, whose support has been a cornerstone of our development over the last decade or so.
“The values shared between our two organisations are clear to see each and every time we work with Andy and the team, and their passion in supporting the club is evident.
“Having the support of a sponsor as loyal and as invested as Mackenzie Construction is a real benefit to the club, and we’re pleased to continue working together over the coming years.”
