Roddy Grant joined Glasgow Warriors as an Assistant Coach in June 2025, joining Franco Smith's coaching team ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Born in Botswana, the 38-year-old was a firm fan favourite over a six-year spell with Edinburgh, for whom he amassed 138 appearances in the back-row, as well as in a Scotland 7s career that saw him represent his country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Upon retiring, Grant took up a role with the Scottish Rugby Academy, before returning to Edinburgh as a coach in 2017.
The former back-rower served as Forwards Coach at Ulster over a five-year spell from 2019 to 2024 in addition to his time at Edinburgh, whilst he also enjoyed a stint as Assistant Coach of Georgia for their 2025 summer Tests with Ireland and South Africa.
