The Scotland U20 hooker started his rugby journey at Garioch RFC at the age of six, and has also represented Glenalmond College and the University of Waikato.
He became only the second Glasgow Warriors men’s player to represent Garioch RFC, following in the footsteps of fellow front-rower Stuart Corsar.
Stephen’s first try in Glasgow Warriors colours came in December 2025, touching down against Edinburgh at Hampden Park.
His first senior Scotland call-up came in March 2026, after being added to the squad ahead of the final two matches in the Guinness Six Nations.
