Scott Forrest officially joined the Glasgow Warriors coaching team in June 2025, having previously been involved with the club's academy system in the 2024/25 campaign.
Born in Rutherglen and a former student at the University of Strathclyde, the 40-year-old served as Head Coach for Great Britain’s women’s 7s squad at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, having previously held the same position for the Scotland Women’s 7s squad.
Forrest was also captain of Scotland 7s during his playing career, including captaining his country at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
He moved to Scotstoun following the conclusion of the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy, having served as assistant coach to Kenny Murray for the duration of the tournament.
