Patrick Schickerling made the move to Scotstoun in the summer of 2024, after a productive spell at Exeter Chiefs.
Born in Namibia, the dynamic tight-head prop made 35 appearances for the Devon outfit, scoring seven tries in the process during a spell that included loan spells at Chinnor and Cornish Pirates.
A strong scrummager, Schickerling has also caught the eye as a formidable ball-carrier; tries against Bristol Bears and Bath endeared the prop to the Sandy Park faithful during his spell at Exeter, whilst an 81st minute score against Leicester Tigers saw Schickerling secure a late victory for Exeter in their opening home match of the 2022/23 season.
