Back-rower Jack Dempsey made the move to Scotstoun ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The dynamic loose forward linked up with his new team-mates ahead of the 2021/22 season, following seven years with Super Rugby side NSW Waratahs.
Accomplished across the back-row, Dempsey earned 14 caps for Australia and represented the Wallabies at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, before switching allegiance to Scotland in 2022.
His Scotland debut came against those in green and gold in October 2022, before earning selection for the 2023 Rugby World Cup for Scotland.
Renowned for his ability with ball in hand, he played a key role in helping the ‘Tahs claim the Australian conference in Super Rugby in both 2015 and 2018.
He was also integral to Gordon’s success in the 2020 Shute Shield, turning in a headline-making performance in the Grand Final victory over Eastwood to help his side claim a first title in 22 years.
The Sydney native has also studied for a Bachelors of Sport and Exercise Management degree at the University of Technology alongside his rugby career.
Dempsey’s ties to the Warriors extend beyond the pitch, with his grandfather having emigrated to Australia from Glasgow.
He scored his first try for the club in the inaugural Plaster It Purple clash at Scotstoun, touching down against Leinster in October 2021.
The back-rower was at the heart of the 2023/24 BKT URC Grand Final win over the Vodacom Bulls in Pretoria, topping the tackle count in a 21-16 victory on his 50th appearance in Glasgow colours.
