SP Energy Networks Championship Round 1
25 Feb 2026The SP Energy Networks Championship kicked off today at Scotstoun Stadium.
In it’s newest form, the SP Energy Networks Championship rounds also feature STEM Activities and a tour of Scotstoun to ensure pupils are getting an even better experience than before.
The opening round featured Marr College, Stonelaw High School, Lenzie Academy and Irvine Royal High.
Each school brought brilliant energy and showcased some fantastic, expansive rugby on the pitch.
Alongside the on-field action, pupils also enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes stadium tour, giving them a glimpse into life at Glasgow Warriors.
To top it off, they took part in a series of fun, hands‑on and educational STEM activities delivered by our official community partner, SP Energy Networks, bringing science and engineering to life in an exciting way.
On the Championship side of things, it was Marr College who proved the strongest on the field and have qualified for the semi-finals in April.
A huge congratulations to all involved in the day!
