This year’s summer camps are held over two weeks in July, and offer fun rugby training for ‘Young Warriors’, including individual boys’ and girls’ skills sessions.

Camps will go on sale on Monday 13 May, for more information visit our ticketing page.

Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Al Kellock, said: “We’re delighted to welcome FOSROC’s support for our camps moving forward. Young people in our community are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re pleased that FOSROC are joining us on that journey, getting young people fit and active, and getting a rugby ball into their hands.”

General Sales Manager of FOSROC UK & Ireland, Tim Mole said, “We are delighted to be supporting the Warrior Camps over the next three years. The camps encourage kids to get outdoors in the fresh air and bring the enjoyment of rugby – and sport in general – to the next generation. As well as being great fun, they help children to develop their confidence, grit and determination, along with fitness and coordination. The initiative also nurtures talented young players of the future, as ideal preparation for grassroots sport.”

What to expect?

Glasgow Warriors rugby camps are inclusive and creative coaching sessions for mini and youth playing age groups, providing well organised and structured activities to engage and educate children through sport. Each camp is designed to strike a balance between games and technical coaching – keeping the sessions fun, while developing players’ understanding of the game through core rugby skills.

Through the Community Coaching team, Glasgow Warriors has successfully delivered rugby focused activity camps for children aged four to 17 for over five years. As a ‘tried and tested’ initiative, the camps have proven to be a popular school holiday activity, with many children coming back to participate year after year.

Run by an experienced team of UK Coaching Certificate Level 1-2 qualified coaches, appropriate levels of contact are used throughout the camps, ranging from Tag/Touch and, where suitable, full contact (tackle/ ruck). Sessions take place on the main pitch at Scotstoun Stadium, with guest appearances from Glasgow Warriors players. All camp players will be supplied with branded FOSROC Warrior Camps t-shirts with the signature Warrior’s mascot, Clyde.

At Group level, FOSROC already have strong partnership with Scottish Rugby, Super Series (previously known as Super6) rugby since its inaugural season in 2019 and have supported the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy since 2018. More recently in 2023, FOSROC also became the main sponsor for FOSROC Future XV Team.
