Kellock welcomes latest Commonwealth Games news
The Scotstoun Leisure Centre Campus played a significant part in the 2014 Commonwealth Games with squash and table tennis held there a decade ago.
Now, the home of Glasgow Warriors looks as though it will play its part again with Scotstoun Stadium named as the potential venue for athletics.
Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Al Kellock, said: “Glasgow Warriors welcomes this week’s news that the Scottish Government will support Glasgow hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games and Scotstoun Stadium will likely play a significant role in the delivery of these Games.
“We look forward to having more discussions as this exciting initiative progresses.”
