Burns Night theme for Bath clash
The club’s next home match at Scotstoun Stadium against Bath in the EPCR Challenge Cup will have a Burns Night theme, as Glasgow Warriors look to secure a home tie in the knockout stages.
The Warrior Nation is invited to come along to the fixture on Friday 20 January (kick-off 8pm) wearing a touch of tartan in honour of Scotland’s Bard, Robert Burns.
In and around the match supporters will also be able to enjoy Scottish themed food choices in the catering outlets as well as entertainment from the Scottish Power Pipe Band and Highland dancing from Lanark’s Celia Orr School of Dance.
There will be more music choices, with The Green Back Band performing covers in the South East corner of the stadium from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
On the night, the club will continue its support for Doddie Aid with a cycling challenge in the Clubhouse. Exercise bikes will be set up for fans to take turns at cycling a mile to raise awareness for MND and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
If you’re already taking part in Doddie Aid and fancy a challenge travelling to and from the match, a reminder that there are covered bike stands on the Scotstoun campus outside the South East gate.
