Sordoni starts for Argentina in Rugby Championship opener
Lucio Sordoni will start at tight-head for Argentina in their Rugby Championship opener this Saturday, as Los Pumas host New Zealand in Mendoza in round one of the competition.
The 24-year-old will win his first cap for his country since 2020, as Michael Cheika’s men look to open their account in style in front of their home supporters.
Having joined the club in the summer of 2022, Sordoni quickly established himself as a fan favourite with the Warrior Nation, making 15 appearances across all competitions in Franco Smith’s first season at the helm.
The match kicks off at 8.10pm UK time on Saturday night, live on Sky Sports.
