Glasgow Warriors stars join Cameron House team for Doddie Aid

Three Glasgow Warriors stars will be joining one of the club’s Official Partners to do their bit for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, as the team at Cameron House on Loch Lomond put in the miles for Doddie Aid 2023.

The resort’s full team will take part in a mass participation rowing challenge between now and February 28, all with the goal of raising valuable funds for research for a cure for motor neuron disease (MND).

Glasgow Warriors back-rowers Rory Darge, Gregor Brown, and club double centurion Ryan Wilson – captain of Team Glasgow in Doddie Aid 2023 – will also be getting involved with the challenge, which celebrates the life of beloved former Scotland and British and Irish Lions star Doddie Weir, who sadly passed away in November 2022.

Founded in 2021, Doddie Aid has raised over £2million for the My Name’5 Doddie foundation to date, with more than 30,000 people taking part across the country. MND is a life-shortening disease affecting the nervous system. Over 1,100 people in the UK are diagnosed with MND per year, and there is still no cure available.
