What will the Supporters Forum do?
The Forum will establish a more structured channel for two-way communication between Glasgow Warriors and its supporters.
Meetings will provide opportunities to discuss specific topics and proposed initiatives, raise issues affecting the wider support, share feedback and explore potential improvements to the supporter experience.
Relevant club representatives will attend discussions where their expertise or responsibilities are required, and supporters will have the opportunity to suggest topics for future meetings.
Forum members will be encouraged to share their own experiences, seek feedback from other supporters where appropriate and bring a broad range of views into discussions. They will also be able to constructively challenge the club where they believe improvements could be made.
The Forum is advisory rather than a decision-making body. While Glasgow Warriors will listen to and consider the feedback provided, responsibility for final decisions will remain with the club.
Who can apply?
Glasgow Warriors is looking for passionate supporters who want to make a positive contribution to the club and the wider supporter experience.
Applicants should be willing to engage constructively with fellow supporters, listen to different perspectives and commit the time required to participate meaningfully in regular meetings throughout the season.
The representative categories are intended to help bring different experiences and perspectives into the Forum. No individual will be expected to speak on behalf of every supporter within their category, nor will members be expected to communicate on behalf of Glasgow Warriors.
Membership is voluntary, and all successful applicants will be asked to agree to the Supporters Forum Terms and Conditions, which outline the expectations and responsibilities of members.
How to apply
Supporters interested in joining the Forum can apply by completing the application form below and reviewing the accompanying Terms and Conditions.
Applications close at 11:59pm on Saturday 31 October.
Glasgow Warriors would encourage supporters from across its community to put themselves forward and help ensure a wide range of voices, experiences and ideas are part of the conversation.
As the club develops this approach, Glasgow Warriors would like to recognise and thank the members of the existing Supporters Forum for the time, commitment and valuable feedback they have provided over the years.
The Supporters Forum is just one of the ways to engage with the club, and all supporters are encouraged to direct any questions, feedback or suggestions to the Scottish Rugby Customer Services team, where all supporter queries and feedback are welcomed.
