SP Energy Networks Summer Series gets underway
A summer-long series of community activity kicked off at Cartha Queen’s Park RFC on Saturday morning, as Glasgow Warriors – together with Official Community Partners, SP Energy Networks – visited Rugby Tots on the city’s southside.
Aimed at giving children between the ages of two and six a first experience of rugby, Rugby Tots provide fun, structured sessions to over 80,000 children worldwide, with 10 venues across the Greater Glasgow area alone throughout this summer.
The Glasgow Warriors community team were on hand at Cartha Queen’s Park on Saturday to deliver a fun basic passing challenge to those in attendance, as well as handing out SP Energy Networks goodie bags at the end of the session.
SP Energy Networks also shared information on the SP Energy Networks Priority Services Register, which helps customers in need of additional support during power outages.
The team will be back at Cartha on Saturday 16 August from 9am – head to Rugby Tots to find out more.
More information on the remaining activities of the SP Energy Networks Summer Series will be coming soon, so keep your eye on the club’s social media channels.
