Former Scotland U20 loose-head Nathan McBeth made the switch to Glasgow Warriors in October 2021, joining from the Emirates Lions.
He made his debut in Glasgow colours in November 2021, coming off the bench against Benetton in Treviso.
His first start then came in January 2023, helping the Warriors to a 40-26 win over USA Perpignan.
McBeth’s performances in the 2022/23 season saw him recognised with the club’s Mackenzie Construction Most Improved Player of the Season award.
The prop made four appearances for Scotland U20 in the 2018 U20 Six Nations, lining up alongside future club-mates Ross Thompson and Murphy Walker and scoring a try against Ireland.
McBeth also represented South Africa U20, starting in three matches at the 2018 World Rugby U20 Championship.
He came up against Glasgow duo Zander Fagerson and Ali Price on the 2021 British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa, starting for the Emirates Lions in the front-row.
Away from rugby, the loose-head is a keen fisherman and cites Springbok legend Os du Randt as his childhood rugby idol.
