SP Energy Networks Championship Round-Up
Day two of the SP Energy Networks Championships took place today at Scotstoun.
Daziel High School, Marr College, Oban High School and Grange Academy all competed today to try to win a place into the next round.
A massive total of 108 tries scored in the competition with only one win separating the top two schools.
Daziel High School and Marr College were so close that it came down to the final fixture of the event. Marr College proved triumphant today, and won seven games in order to progress to the next round.
A few Glasgow Warriors players came over to speak to the players about both rugby and life off the pitch after they had finished training. These interactions are always a highlight for the aspiring players.
The weather held up today, and despite the colder temperatures, there were smiles on all faces.
The next pool stage will see another five schools compete to progress through to the next round in just under a week’s time.
A massive thank you to SP Energy Networks continued support of this Championship.
