Nominations open for SP Energy Networks Community Spotlight for September 2025

Each month, Glasgow Warriors and SP Energy Networks will highlight the work of someone in the grassroots game doing great work to grow rugby and support the local community in Glasgow, the West, and Caledonia.

Every monthly winner throughout the 2025/26 season will be shortlisted for the SP Energy Networks Community Hero Award, presented at the Glasgow Warriors Annual Awards Dinner.

Nominations are now open, so if you know someone in the grassroots game who deserves to be recognised, nominate them using the form below!

September’s winner will also receive two tickets to our opening match of the BKT United Rugby Championship season, as your Glasgow Warriors take on Hollywoodbets Sharks at Scotstoun on Friday 26 September (kick-off 8.05pm).

• Nominations live from Tuesday 2 September to Monday 15 September
• Winner will be selected and announced w/c Monday 15 September
• Winner will be invited to attend Glasgow Warriors v Hollywoodbets Sharks at Scotstoun on Friday 26 September

• Nominations live from Wednesday 1 October to Monday 13 October
• Winner will be selected and announced w/c Monday 13 October
• Winner will be invited to attend Glasgow Warriors v Vodacom Bulls at Scotstoun on Friday 24 October

Community Spotlight | December/January

• Nominations live from Monday 29 December to Monday 19 January
• Winner will be selected and announced w/c Monday 19 January
• Winner will be invited to attend Glasgow Warriors v Munster at Scotstoun on Friday 30 January

Community Spotlight | February/March

• Nominations live from Monday 16 February to Monday 9 March
• Winner will be selected and announced w/c Monday 9 March
• Winner will be invited to attend Glasgow Warriors v Leinster at Scotstoun on Saturday 21 March
