McCrea Financial Services extend enduring partnership with Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors’ longest-serving sponsor McCrea Financial Services has extended its sponsorship of the club, taking the relationship between the two parties into its 17th season.
The independent financial advisers have been in partnership with the club for some of the most famous moments in the professional history of Glasgow rugby, including a first ever league win in 2015 and a first-ever European final, in the EPCR Challenge Cup back in May.
McCrea Financial Services will continue to be seen on the right sleeve of the club’s home and away jerseys and as the title sponsor of the monthly McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award, chosen by the Warrior Nation.
As part of the accolade in 2023/24, McCrea Financial Services will donate to a charity of the winner’s choosing, a move which supports the club’s ambitions for bringing to life its vision to ‘make a tangible difference to our community and for those living in it’.
Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Al Kellock, said: “We’re thoroughly delighted that McCrea Financial Services are continuing to support Glasgow Warriors as we head into the 2023/24 season.
“The passion for this club and the support they have provided to many of our players during their 15 years involved has been second to none.
“We’re also really pleased that they are enhancing their Warrior of the Month award with a generous donation to charities that have an important meaning personally to our players. This is another step that shows the deep links and collective effort being put in to bringing our Cultural Blueprint to life.
“My personal thanks to Douglas McCrea and his team for that support.”
Douglas McCrea, Managing Director of McCrea Financial Services, added: “We’re delighted to continue supporting the Warriors for another two seasons at a very exciting time for the club, which will take our partnership into its 17th year.
“It was great to see the entertaining fast-paced rugby that we are famous for return to Scotstoun last season under Franco, which took us on a thrilling journey to our first European final.
“We’re very much looking forward to the start of the new season where we will continue to engage with the Warrior Nation and local community, and are counting down the days until we host Leinster to kick-off the BKT URC campaign.
