Edinburgh have the ball and are attacking. They put the Glasgow defence under pressure for a few phases before they knock the ball on and Glasgow regain possession.
Edinburgh go seeking a second try from their lineout but the failure to get their rolling maul underway sees Glasgow win the ball back.
Glasgow’s rolling maul takes shape and cannot be stopped as it powers over the Edinburgh line.

A break from Nonz gives Glasgow the ball up the field before Dobie is taken out in the air, Glasgow have the lineout.

As time reaches 40 minutes, Edinburgh hold up Glasgow once more.

Demmo catches and looks to run hard at Edinburgh.
Glasgow have the advantage as Hastings kicks the ball forward. It isn’t collected so Glasgow have the pick and go from under the posts.
The hosts attack hard looking for the try before half time.

Glasgow now have the scrum just 5 within their own half. With 5 minutes remaining and only 2 points separating the teams, it’s all to play for.

Edinburgh have the lineout in the corner once more as Glasgow concede two penalties in quick succession.
A Glasgow knock-on gives Edinburgh the scrum.
Stafford chases hard as they attempt to move the ball.
Glasgow win the ball back but another knock on gives Edinburgh the chance to restart play in the Glasgow corner as they seek their first try.
Edinburgh have the scrum on their own 5m line and will have to attack from deep.
AS we approach the 20 minute mark, Glasgow secure the turnover once more and look to attack from the corner with their lineout.
Hiddleston throws and the maul starts to move. The maul collapses and Edinburgh win the penalty.
Edinburgh look to attack once more as they have a second lineout on halfway.
They move the ball fast, but Glasgow turn it over on the other side of the pitch.
Glasgow now look to attack.
After Glasgow possession and attack for few phases, Hastings pops a kick through, it isn’t collected by Glasgow and Edinburgh have the lineout in their own 22.
