Two Glasgow Warriors tries shortlisted for BKT URC Try of the Season

Glasgow Warriors are one of only two clubs to have multiple tries shortlisted for the 2023/24 BKT URC Try of the Season, powered by URC.tv, with supporters from across the competition set to vote for their chosen winner.

Sebastian Cancelliere’s flying finish against Leinster in Round One, alongside Duncan Weir’s scintillating score against the Vodacom Bulls in Round 16, are both featured on the 10-strong shortlist.

Cancelliere’s try was one of seven run in by your Glasgow Warriors on the opening weekend of the 2023/24 campaign, the Argentinian linking with Gregor Brown before diving over in the corner in a 43-25 victory on Family Day at Scotstoun.

Weir’s try was one element of an impressive contribution off the bench in Pretoria, the fly-half finishing off a flowing team move that saw the ball move through five pairs of hands before the Scotland international sniped over from a close-range breakdown.

Supporters can vote for their winner until Monday 3 June, with the winner revealed on Thursday 13 June across the BKT URC’s social media channels.

Season Ticket Renewals for 23/24 holders are now CLOSED!

24/25 Warrior Nation Members will now have first access to purchase non-renewed Season Tickets on Monday 27 May from 10am.
