A season of standout moments and memories sees Franco Smith’s men fully in the running for a home knockout berth in the BKT United Rugby Championship, as well as going unbeaten through the Investec Champions Cup pool stages en route to a first-ever home quarter-final in Europe’s premier club competition.
Supporters can cast their vote by clicking HERE until Thursday 30 April, with the winner to be revealed at the club’s annual Awards Dinner, sponsored by The Malcolm Group, on Saturday 9 May at Hilton Glasgow.
The nominees – in alphabetical order by surname – are:
Rory Darge
One of northern hemisphere rugby’s most consistent performers, Darge has been at the heart of Glasgow’s charge in both the BKT URC and Investec Champions Cup.
A constant menace at the breakdown for the opposition, the openside has recorded 10 turnovers across all competitions to date, whilst also recording a crucial try in the away victory over Sale Sharks in the club’s opening match of their European campaign.
Darge has been a noticeable presence in attack, too, beating 14 defenders and providing a key link between forwards and backs in a campaign that also saw him claim BKT Player of the Match honours in the 1872 Cup win over Edinburgh at Hampden Park.
Jamie Dobie
An electric presence whether lining up at scrum-half or on the wing, Dobie has turned in a series of scintillating performances whenever he has run out in Glasgow colours this season.
The Inverness native – who is just two appearances away from reaching a century of outings in Glasgow colours – began the season in sublime form, a brace of tries in an all-round display of control from scrum-half underlining the 24-year-old’s quality in victory away to the Ospreys.
Dobie then repeated the feat in the 1872 Cup-clinching victory over Edinburgh at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, whilst no Warrior has scored more tries in the BKT URC to date this season than Dobie’s seven.
Matt Fagerson
Fagerson’s dynamism on both sides of the ball has been in full evidence across 2025/26, the 27-year-old often leading a defensive line that can count itself as amongst the best in Europe.
No player has made more tackles in the Investec Champions Cup than the back-rower’s tally of 97, recording a further 93 hits in the BKT URC for good measure.
A combined total of 139 carries across all competitions also underlines Fagerson’s willingness to get his hands on the ball, beating 17 defenders in doing so.
George Horne
Last season’s winner of this award, Horne has once again turned in a season full of highlight-reel moments for Smith’s squad.
The scrum-half marked his 150th appearance for the club in trademark fashion, scoring a try and claiming Investec Player of the Match honours in a 28-3 win over Saracens in front of a sold-out Scotstoun.
Horne is also the club’s top points-scorer in 2025/26 to date, with 68 points – including six tries – across all competitions so far this season.
Stafford McDowall
Having joined the roll of Glasgow Warriors centurions during the 2025/26 season, McDowall has continued to be a pivotal figure for the club throughout the campaign.
The centre crossed for what would ultimately prove to be the winning try on his 100th appearance for the club, touching down in the 26-21 win away to Sale Sharks at the start of December.
A picture of consistency in the midfield, McDowall was then at the heart of an unforgettable Investec Champions Cup last-16 victory over the Vodacom Bulls, producing a sensational finish in the corner to add a try to a Player of the Match-winning display.
Kyle Rowe
Nominated for the second successive season, Rowe has once again proved a cutting edge for the Warriors every time he steps out in Glasgow colours.
The winger crossed for the club’s first try of the 2025/26 campaign by touching down against the Hollywoodbets Sharks at Scotstoun, whilst his BKT URC form sees him sit inside the top 10 across the league for both metres gained and clean breaks.
A sensational solo score in victory over Leinster brought a sold-out Scotstoun to its feet upon the club’s return from the Guinness Six Nations window, providing a reminder of Rowe’s attacking capabilities to supporters and pundits alike.
