Glasgow Warriors renew partnership with Glasgow Airport

One of Glasgow Warriors’ longest-standing sponsors will continue their partnership with the club for the 2024/25 campaign, after Glasgow Airport extended their support of the Scotstoun outfit.

Serving over 100 destinations worldwide, the renewal sees Glasgow Airport extend their sponsorship of the defending BKT URC champions into a 13th year, having initially joined the club’s network of sponsors and partners in 2012.

With over seven million passengers per year passing through the airport’s doors, Glasgow is Scotland’s principal long-haul airport as well as Scotland’s largest charter hub.

The airport has also been a vital supporter of the club’s travel and logistics since the expansion of the BKT URC into South Africa in 2021, including assisting with the club’s outbound and inbound travel for last month’s historic Grand Final triumph in Pretoria.

Speaking following the announcement, Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Al Kellock, said: “Glasgow Airport’s support and assistance to this club has been invaluable ever since coming on board over a decade ago.

“We’re delighted to be able to extend our partnership with an iconic Glasgow brand, and we look forward to working closely with our friends and colleagues at the airport on our travels across the 2024/25 season.”

Marc Findlay, Head of Marketing at AGS Airports – who operate Glasgow Airport -, added: “AGS Airports is thrilled to announce the extension of our Glasgow Airport partnership with Glasgow Warriors.

“This collaboration signifies our commitment to supporting our communities and we look forward to continuing our work together.

“We were also delighted to welcome the team home following the URC Final win, which brought a real buzz to the terminal.”
