Glasgow Warriors discover 2024/25 Investec Champions Cup opponents
Glasgow Warriors will face a mix of old and familiar foes in the 2024/25 Investec Champions Cup group stages, after being drawn to face Sale Sharks, Harlequins, Racing 92 and RC Toulon in today’s pool draw.
One of the top seeds in the competition courtesy of winning the BKT United Rugby Championship, the draw sees Franco Smith’s men learn their group stage opponents in Europe’s premier competition, as they look to improve upon last season’s Round of 16 showing.

Smith’s squad will get an immediate chance at settling the score with the team that eliminated them in the 2023/24 knockout stages, after being pooled with Harlequins months on from April’s narrow defeat at the Twickenham Stoop.
Another 2023/24 opponent will also lie in wait, as RC Toulon are drawn with the Warriors for the second successive campaign, braces from Huw Jones and Kyle Rowe earning a 29-5 victory over the French outfit at Scotstoun back in January.
A first meeting with Sale Sharks since 2020 awaits when the pool stages kick-off, with a 45-7 victory in 2020 at the AJ Bell Stadium having backed up a 13-10 win over the English outfit at Scotstoun in the 2019/20 group stages at the AJ Bell Stadium.
The Warriors’ pool stage opponents are rounded out by French powerhouses Racing 92, a star-studded squad including South Africa captain Siya Kolisi and England fly-half Owen Farrell set for their first meeting with Glasgow since the Warriors earned a famous home-and-away double over the Parisians in the 2016/17 season.
Pool Four is concluded by the DHL Stormers, with competition rules meaning that teams from the same league will not play each other in the pool stages.
Fixture dates, kick-off times and broadcast details will be confirmed by EPCR in due course.
