What’s On | The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly
We’re now just a little more than two weeks’ away from facing Zebre Parma in The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly on Saturday 30 September.
This is the first time we’ll run out at Scotstoun Stadium since playing Munster in the BKT United Rugby Championship quarter-final back in May.
It’s also your first opportunity to see our latest signings in action. Henco Venter who arrived from the Hollwoodbets Sharks, and Logan Trotter and Kyle Rowe who moved north from London Irish are all in contention to start.
On the day, gates will open at 4.30pm. The match then kicks off at 6pm. There is also the option to purchase tickets to watch the Rugby World Cup round three game between Scotland and Romania in Club KubeNet later in the evening.
Glasgow Warriors Season Ticket Members have The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly included in their membership. Meanwhile, general ticket purchasers can come for as little as £10 for adult and £4 for under-12s.
Around the stadium you can look forward to a selection regular match day activities.
New food and drink offerings
We’re delighted to have three new independent Scottish food and drink suppliers at the Stadium for this match. This season we are improving the quality of our food and drinks offerings and will be working with these suppliers and others throughout 2023/24.
You can look forward to the following options at this match:
Passing Challenge
Visitors of all ages can try their hand at our Passing Challenge. Head to the newly named Warriors Pavilion, behind the east stand, to get involved.
Heart of Scotstoun collection
We’re doing another food drive for our friends at Heart of Scotstoun at this match. You can drop supplies off at our Community Van, which will be parked next to the main reception. Heart of Scotstoun is currently needing breakfast cereal; tins of soup; tins of beans, peas, and potatoes; pasta; rice; noodles; and toiletries.
Scotland v Romania: Sold Out
Finally, we are showing the Rugby World Cup match between Scotland and Romania at 8pm.
The match will be shown in Club KubeNet, which is situated in Scotstoun Leisure Centre. Tickets are £5 per person. Tickets must be bought separately to match tickets.
A ticket gives access to Club KubeNet, a cash bar, and Warriors Pie on arrival. Anyone wanting to come along, should sign up quickly for this viewing, as Club KubeNet has a capacity for 120 people.
