Vailanu named in Tonga squad for Fiji showdown

Sione Vailanu has been selected in the Tonga squad to take on Fiji this weekend, as the Ikale Tahi look to back up last weekend’s famous win over Australia A against their Pacific Island rivals.

The Glasgow Warriors back-rower will once again wear the number 20 jersey for the clash, which kicks off at 3am UK time on Saturday morning.

Vailanu came off the bench to help his team to victory in front of a passionate home crowd in Nuku’alofa last weekend, as preparations continue for this autumn’s Rugby World Cup in France.
