19 Warriors selected in Scotland squad for Guinness Six Nations

The cohort includes Alex Craig, who is included in the national setup for the first time since making the switch to Scotstoun last summer after an impressive run of form in recent weeks.

Sione Tuipulotu continues as captain of the 40-strong playing group, the centre joined by fellow Glasgow midfielders Stafford McDowall and Huw Jones amongst the back-line options.

Jack Dempsey – who has made more carries in the Investec Champions Cup than any other player to date – joins back-row colleagues Matt Fagerson and Rory Darge in the mix, the trio having been in sublime form during Saturday’s victory over Saracens at Scotstoun.

The leading try-scorer in the BKT United Rugby Championship is also included ahead of the start of the international window, as Jamie Dobie is included alongside George Horne at scrum-half.

Club captain Kyle Steyn – who leads the Warriors with four tries in European competition this season – is included amongst the back-three options, joining Kyle Rowe and Ollie Smith in competing for selection.

Nathan McBeth, Adam Hastings and Max Williamson return to the setup after representing their country in the Quilter Nations Series, whilst a quartet of British & Irish Lions in the form of Scott Cummings, Zander Fagerson, Gregor Brown and Rory Sutherland complete the Glasgow Warriors contingent.
