Nine Warriors set for All Blacks test

Nine Glasgow Warriors will suit up for Scotland at Scottish Gas Murrayfield this Saturday afternoon, as Gregor Townsend’s men go in search of a first-ever victory over three-time world champions, New Zealand.

Sione Tuipulotu will lead the team out for the first time in this year’s Quilter Nations Series, coming into the side having been rested for last weekend’s record-breaking 85-0 win over the USA at the home of Scottish rugby.

He’s joined in the back-line by Glasgow Warriors club captain Kyle Steyn, who earns selection on the wing after a standout start to the 2025/26 BKT United Rugby Championship season.

Up front, Scott Cummings once again features in the engine room, the British & Irish Lion having returned to Scotland action in last weekend’s victory over the Americans.

An all-Glasgow Warriors back-row sees Gregor Brown selected at blindside, the Aberdonian another to have consistently impressed in the BKT URC so far this campaign.

Matt Fagerson starts at openside, having also run out in the number seven shirt in Glasgow’s 21-13 victory over the Vodacom Bulls at Scotstoun last month in the last match before the international break.

Jack Dempsey continues at number eight, following a powerful display at the base of the scrum in the first half of last weekend’s run-out.

The bench sees Rory Sutherland and Jamie Dobie both rotate to the replacements after starting last Saturday, the latter having picked up Player of the Match honours in addition to his first-ever international hat-trick.

Rory Darge completes the Glasgow cohort selected, the back-rower set for his first appearance since featuring in the opening BKT URC match of the season, a victory for the Warriors over the Hollywoodbets Sharks at Scotstoun.

Supporters can watch all the action from Scottish Gas Murrayfield live on TNT Sports, with kick-off scheduled for 3.10pm.
