Squad Update | 6 November 2023
Ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Ospreys in Round Four of the 2023/24 BKT United Rugby Championship, Glasgow Warriors can provide the following squad update:
Club captain Kyle Steyn has undergone surgery at Ross Hall Hospital on an ankle injury sustained in the club’s BKT URC Round Two clash with Connacht; the winger has now commenced his rehabilitation with the club and will be out of action for up to 12 weeks.
Huw Jones is undergoing ongoing assessment by the club’s medical team on a foot injury sustained against Connacht, and will be looking to return to action in the coming weeks.
Jack Dempsey is being managed by the club’s medical team after returning with a wrist injury from the Rugby World Cup.
Jack Mann and Richie Simpson continue to work their way through the return to play protocols following their respective concussions earlier this year.
JP du Preez and Fraser Brown are continuing their respective rehabilitation processes following their respective knee injuries.
Murphy Walker (calf) and Facundo Cordero (ankle) continue to work through their return to play pathways following their respective injuries.
Euan Ferrie has returned to team training following an ankle injury.
