Pieretto departs Glasgow Warriors on loan
Glasgow Warriors have agreed to allow Enrique Pieretto to depart the club on loan with immediate effect, allowing the Argentinian to take up an opportunity overseas.
The 29-year-old departs following four seasons at Scotstoun, having initially joined the club in the summer of 2020 after a short spell with Exeter Chiefs in the English Premiership.
He earned the Mackenzie Construction Most Improved Player of the Season award at the end of his first full campaign at Scotstoun, having impressed during the COVID-19-impacted 2020/21 season.
The Cordoba native has made 33 appearances to date for the club, most recently in the 26-12 victory over Benetton at Scotstoun back in November.
He previously featured in Super Rugby for the Jaguares, making 17 appearances for the Argentinian side on their run to the 2019 Super Rugby Final.
Glasgow Warriors would like to thank Pieretto for his contribution over the last four seasons, and wish him and his family all the very best for what comes next.
