Lindsey Smith’s squad know that victory in Friday night’s derby with Edinburgh at Scotstoun – a match set to break the club’s attendance record for a standalone women’s fixture – is imperative if they are to make the final four, whilst also requiring Gwalia Lightning to beat Brython Thunder this Sunday.
February saw the Warriors chalk up their second victory of the campaign by earning a 15-12 victory away to the Lightning, whilst also picking up a bonus-point despite defeat to the Wolfhounds.
Supporters can vote for their winner by clicking here before 5pm on Friday 6 March.
The nominees are:
Briar McNamara
One of the club’s most consistent performers, the hard-running McNamara was at the heart of Glasgow’s attack throughout February.
The centre crossed for one of the club’s four tries against the Wolfhounds at Scotstoun, each time showing her power and pace with ball in hand.
Her tactical kicking has also been in evidence throughout the month, routinely applying the pressure to Glasgow’s opponents with the boot.
Millie Warren
Having made her first start in Glasgow colours at the end of January, Warren has shown her versatility by featuring at both centre and full-back across the month.
A memorable interception try with the clock in the red saw Warren secure an attacking bonus-point despite defeat to the Wolfhounds, racing in from halfway to dive over the whitewash.
Warren also slotted a crucial penalty to help her side to a 15-12 win away to the Lightning, whilst no Warrior has scored more points than her to date in the Celtic Challenge.
Megan Hyland
Hyland has continued her strong run of form in her third season as a Glasgow Warrior, the hooker consistently making an impact with ball in hand.
A 50-metre line break saw the Garioch RFC product set up the field position for Hannah Smyth’s try at home to Brython Thunder, one of a series of carries across February by the front-rower.
Hyland was also at the forefront of the defensive effort that earned the Warriors victory over the Lightning, repeatedly making key tackles around the breakdown to secure the win.
Poppy Fletcher
Fletcher has been a key member of the Glasgow pack since returning from injury earlier in the Celtic Challenge, anchoring one of the strongest scrums in the competition.
Her dynamism around the park is matched by her ability in the loose, offering herself as a carrier time and again in the tight exchanges.
At the set-piece, too, the prop has been at the forefront, giving her side an attacking platform from both the scrum and the lineout from which to launch their attack.
