Gregor Brown called up by British & Irish Lions
Gregor Brown has been called up to the British & Irish Lions squad and will travel to Australia with fellow Warrior Rory Sutherland following the conclusion of Scotland’s summer tour.
The 24-year-old, who signed a new contract at Scotstoun last season made his 10th appearance for his country in Scotland’s 41-12 victory over Samoa on Friday and travels to Melbourne ahead of the Lions’ final midweek fixture against a First Nations and Pasifika XV on Tuesday.
Equally as comfortable at lock or in the back row Brown will become the fifth Warrior on tour and the sixth named in Andy Farrell’s squad, extending a club record for the number of Lions on one tour.
As well as teaming up with his Glasgow teammates, Brown will also join his cousin Blair Kinghorn in the Lions squad.
