Stephen called into Scotland squad

Glasgow Warriors hooker Seb Stephen has been called up to a senior Scotland squad for the first time, after the hooker was added to the group preparing for this weekend's Guinness Six Nations clash with France.

The Garioch RFC product has made seven appearances to date this season, scoring in the 1872 Cup victory over Edinburgh at Hampden Park and featuring off the bench in massive European victories over Toulouse and Saracens at Scotstoun.

Murphy Walker joins Stephen in being called into the squad ahead of Saturday’s match at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, the prop looking to add to six caps for Scotland to date.

Jack Dempsey has also returned to Scotland camp to continue his rehabilitation of a bicep injury sustained against England, in a campaign that has already seen the number eight shortlisted for Investec Player of the Year after his performances for the Warriors in the Investec Champions Cup.
