Matt Fagerson goes fast and looks like he has scored. The ball is short and then recycled before eventually going back to Fagerson who is then held up by the French defence.
Glasgow have the lineout and look to go and score.
Lancaster is dragged over the line and held up.
Clermont then kick the ball straight out and Glasgow restart with the scrum.

Clermont get the try they have been seeking for while Glasgow are down 2 men as they run it in, weaving their way through the defence.

Replacement due to Schickerling yellow card
Glasgow have the lineout on the 22 and look to attack but a loose ball gives Clermont back possession.
2 minutes remain on the yellow cards.
Dan Lancaster has the opportunity to kick for points but the kick drifts wide.
Along with Schickerling, George Horne is sent to the bin for a deliberate knock on and Clermont are awarded a penalty try.

Patrick Schickerling is sent to the bin for being offside after repeated infringements but the Warriors side.
Glasgow show their dominance at scrum time to allow Lancaster to once more kick for territory.

Glasgow’s defence must hold strong to keep them out as they continually hit hard and work their way along it.

Glasgow defence hold strong and hold up the Clermont player as they attempt to score just before the break.
Clermont have the lineout as the final play of the half.
They have the advantage as they press the Glasgow defence.
It’s Jack Dempsey who drops over the line and scores Glasgow’s bonus point try as Glasgow hit back fast!

Clermont get their first try after they work hard in the Glasgow 22 to stretch the defence.
The conversion is successful.

Clermont have the scrum for a forward pass from Glasgow.
Clermont show dominance and win the penalty and now kick to the corner
A little kick through from Jones is collected by Rowe who looks about to score until a tackle forces the offload to Steyn who runs in to score.

Clermont press hard along the Glasgow defence but a loose ball gives Rowe the ball to kick down the pitch to put the pressure back on them.
Lancaster passes to Jones on the inside line who then takes off and runs all the way in to touch down in his first game of the 25/26 season!
Horne then converts.

Glasgow win at scrum time and George Horne takes it quickly to catch the French side off guard.
Huw Jones kicks through but it’s collected by the French team who kick it back upfield to let the visitors begin their attack again.
Clermont attack after their scrum but drop the ball in the tackle and knock it on.
Glasgow will now restart with a scrum just within their own half.
Glasgow score their first try off their rolling lineout maul as Euan Ferrie attaches at the back and touches down for the Glasgow side.
Horne’s attempt at converting goes wide.

Glasgow have a second lineout in as many minutes and look to attack.
Clermont’s defence holds strong but gives away penalties to give Glasgow the advantage.
Clermont are given a warning that further infringement will lead to more yellow cards.
Clermont get a yellow card and Sowakula is sent to the bin for a deliberate knock on.
Glasgow will kick to the corner and go again.
Glasgow have the put in at the scrum and Huw Jones and Sione Tuipulotu break down the field!
After a turnover from a loose Clermont ball, Glasgow give possession back to the hosts through a knock-on.
