19 Warriors selected in Scotland squad
Scotland Head Coach Gregor Townsend has named a total of 19 Glasgow Warriors in a 45-strong squad for the upcoming Quilter Nations Series, as preparations continue for the upcoming autumn internationals.
Sione Tuipulotu will resume his captaincy of the side, having led the men in blue during last November’s Test matches before missing the Guinness Six Nations due to injury and touring with the British & Irish Lions this summer.
The captain is joined by four more of Glasgow’s Lions amongst the playing group, as Scott Cummings and Zander Fagerson join Gregor Brown and Rory Sutherland – the latter two having featured against the First Nations & Pasifika XV as late call-ups to the tour – amongst the contingent of forwards selected.
Murphy Walker is selected in a Scotland squad for the first time since the 2024 summer tour of the Americas, with Nathan McBeth also selected in the squad after returning from injury in Saturday’s victory over the Ospreys.
The starting Glasgow second-row from that win in Bridgend is also selected, as Alex Samuel – who made his senior international debut against Portugal in last November’s international window – and Max Williamson are included in Townsend’s playing group.
Rory Darge and Jack Dempsey are both included as they continue their return from their respective injuries, whilst Matt Fagerson – who made 20 tackles in Bridgend on Saturday night – completes the cohort of Glasgow forwards selected for Scotland.

Behind the scrum, Jamie Dobie is selected alongside George Horne as two of Townsend’s options at scrum-half, the former having crossed for two tries in a BKT URC Player of the Match-winning display.
Adam Hastings will look to add to his 34 caps for Scotland to date, whilst Stafford McDowall – who captained Scotland against the Maori All Blacks this summer – joins Tuipulotu amongst the options at centre.
Ollie Smith is included after an impressive start to the 2025/26 campaign that has seen him run out at full-back, centre and wing so far this season, with Kyle Rowe and Kyle Steyn rounding out the Warriors competing for Test minutes this autumn.
All four of Scotland’s matches at Scottish Gas Murrayfield this autumn are live on TNT Sports.
