11 Warriors selected for Calcutta Cup showdown

A Scotland squad containing 11 Glasgow Warriors will take to the field against England in the Guinness Six Nations this weekend, as Gregor Townsend’s men go head to head with the Auld Enemy at Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening.

10 of the 11 Warriors selected were also involved in the round two clash with Ireland at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, with Kyle Rowe the new addition as the winger draws into the starting XV for his first appearance of the championship.

Rowe is joined in the back-line by an all-Glasgow combination in the midfield, as Tom Jordan and Huw Jones – Scotland’s top try-scorer in the tournament to date – link up once more in the centres.

Up front, Zander Fagerson continues at tight-head, the British and Irish Lion set to win his 73rd cap for his country on Saturday evening.

Rory Darge once again co-captains the side from the openside flank, having made the joint-most offloads in the tournament after the opening two rounds.

Jack Dempsey starts at number eight after returning to the starting XV against Ireland, with the back-rower undefeated in his two outings against England in a Scotland jersey.

Five further Warriors await their opportunity from the bench, with Rory Sutherland and Matt Fagerson rotating to the replacements after starting against Ireland last time out.

Gregor Brown continues amongst a six-two split of forwards and backs selected in the matchday 23, as Jamie Dobie and Stafford McDowall once again cover the back-line for Saturday’s encounter.

You can watch all the action live on ITV and STV, with kick-off scheduled for 4.45pm on Saturday afternoon.
