Home and away victories over Zebre Parma and Munster helped the Warriors secure top spot in the URC ahead of the international break while wins over Clermont Auvergne and Saracens saw Glasgow finish their Champions Cup campaign with a perfect 20 points.
Now it’s over to you, Warrior Nation, to decide who should be crowned One Four Nine Wealth Warrior of the Month for January.
Voting is open until midnight on Tuesday10 February – click HERE to cast your vote!
The nominees are:
Alex Craig
A rock in the second-row throughout January, Craig’s physical presence was a key factor in Glasgow’s strong set-piece and defensive efforts. He helped spark the attack against Saracens, powering a 30-metre burst that helped set up early pressure in the match at Scotstoun.
The only nominee to not only play in all five fixtures in January but also start, Craig’s performances earned him a place in Gregor Townsend’s Scotland squad for the upcoming Guinness Men’s Six Nations.
Jamie Dobie
The winner of December’s award, Jamie Dobie’s performances against Zebre and Clermont were impressive enough to earn a place on Franco Smith’s shortlist once more.
He was central to Glasgow’s bonus-point win over the Italians at Scotstoun at the beginning of the month, crossing for two tries in the 47-10 triumph that put him top of the URC try scoring charts with 7 for the season.
His versatility was on display in Clermont, starting on the wing and stepping in at scrum-half during the match with world-class showings in both positions.
Jack Dempsey
Dempsey’s showing in the Investec Champions Cup in January not only earned him a spot on this shortlist but also a nomination for Investec Player of the Year.
Be it scoring against Clermont or rampaging through Saracens’ defence to set up George Horne, Dempsey played like a man possessed throughout January and is rightly regarded as one of the top 10 players in Europe on current form.
Matt Fagerson
Matt Fagerson’s stats both side of the ball show just how impactful he has been for his side so far this season.
In attack, his gain line dominance shows with 176 meters made off just 69 carries. Defensively, a 92% tackle success rate and 7 turnovers won are proof of his all court game and consistency.
