Four players nominated for One Four Nine Wealth Women’s Warrior of the Month

3 Feb 2026

Glasgow Warriors Women Head Coach Lindsey Smith has nominated 4 players to be One Four Nine Wealth Warrior of the Month for January.

Despite not registering a win in their four matches, Smith’s side have shown enormous growth to consistently collect try scoring and losing bonus points against the strongest Celtic Challenge sides and sit fourth overall with 6 fixtures played.

January started with Warriors’ first home game of the season against Gwalia Lightening before consecutive weekends in Ireland against Clovers and Wolfhounds. Smith’s side rounded off January with a home clash against Clovers registering four points across their four games against the sides ranked 1-3 in the competition.

Supporters can vote for their winner by clicking HERE before midnight on Tuesday 10 February.

The nominees are:

Gemma Bell

Another constant in the starting XV across January, Gemma Bell’s all court game was crucial in Warriors going head-to-head against the strongest sides in the competition.

A try against Gwalia at home as well as her abrasive style both sides of the ball earned Bell her first Warrior of the Month nomination of the season.

Holland Bogan

December’s Warrior of the Month winner, Holland Bogan continued her stand our form into January having an impact on all four games.

Crossing the tryline against Clovers and Wolfhounds away and again against the Clovers at home, it’s no wonder the second-row was invited into a national team training camp earlier this month.

Sky Phimister

Another player nominated in consecutive months, Sky Phimister’s blistering pace has given the Warriors a point of difference in attacking throughout January.

A try against Gwalia at home and another against Wolfhounds away were key to Warriors getting the points on the board that see them sitting 4th in the Celtic Challenge.

Aicha Sutcliffe

Ever present across January, Aicha Sutcliffe displayed her versatility by playing in multiple positions in the front row giving Glasgow a solid set-piece foundation.

Starting the first two matches at Loosehead Prop before switching to Hooker for the final two games, Sutcliffe was a bedrock of Warriors’ impressive performances in January.
