Gregor Brown will make his first Guinness Six Nations start in Paris this Saturday night, after being named in the second-row for this weekend’s Super Saturday showdown with France at the Stade de France.

The Aberdonian – who has featured in all four of Scotland’s fixtures in the tournament to date – is one of nine Glasgow Warriors selected in Gregor Townsend’s matchday 23, as they travel to the French capital for the final clash of the 2025 competition.

Zander Fagerson makes his sixth consecutive start in the front-row, the tight-head the only Glasgow Warrior to have started in Scotland’s most-recent win in Paris, having anchored the scrum in the 27-23 triumph over Les Bleus in 2021.

Rory Darge starts as co-captain on the openside flank, having made more tackles than any other Scottish player during the Guinness Six Nations to date.

Matt Fagerson comes in to start in place of Jack Dempsey at number eight, following a performance off the bench last weekend that saw him record 13 tackles – the joint most of any Scottish player – and beat three defenders with ball in hand.

Tom Jordan continues at inside-centre, following a display against Wales that saw him register his first two tries in Scotland colours at Scottish Gas Murrayfield last time out.

Huw Jones lines up outside him in the number 13 jersey, with only Louis Bielle-Biarrey ahead of him in this season’s try-scoring charts.

Rory Sutherland is one of three further Warriors awaiting their opportunity from the bench, the loose-head prop the sole Glasgow representative amongst the replacement forwards.

Jamie Dobie returns to the matchday 23 after being rested against Wales last weekend, the Inverness-born scrum-half also covering the back-three in a six-two split of forwards and backs.

Stafford McDowall completes the Glasgow contingent, with the centre set to make his fifth consecutive appearance for his country.
