The Glasgow cohort is led by squad vice-captain Ceitidh Ainsworth, who recently picked up the club’s Coaches Player of the Season award at the club’s annual Awards Dinner.

Emily Coubrough – who played more minutes for Glasgow Warriors than any other player in the 2024/25 Celtic Challenge – is amongst the nine Glasgow forwards selected by Dalgliesh, with her Biggar RFC team-mate Poppy Mellanby joining Gemma Thomson in following up their impressive performances for Scotland U18 with selection for the U20 training squad.

Elsewhere, five of Glasgow’s front-rowers are included amongst the playing group, with hookers Megan Hyland and Aicha Sutcliffe joined by props Eilidh Fleming, Poppy Fletcher and Poppy Clarkson after impressive Celtic Challenge campaigns.

University of Strathclyde student Aisha Zameer is named after catching the eye with a series of dynamic displays during her outings for Glasgow Warriors, with Sophie Price named alongside her Hillhead Jordanhill club-mate.

Behind the scrum, Nicole Flynn and Millie Warren are both selected after impressing for Lindsey Smith’s squad following their return from long-term injury layoffs, the former touching down for Glasgow’s opening try in their final Celtic Challenge clash away to Brython Thunder.

Emily Norval is named amongst the back-three options after a campaign that included a try-scoring Glasgow Warriors debut in victory over Edinburgh back in February, whilst Highland RFC scrum-half Rianna Darroch joins her former Scotland U18 team-mate in graduating to the U20 setup.

The Glasgow cohort is completed by Rebekah Douglas, who was included in the wider Glasgow Warriors squad ahead of the 2024/25 Celtic Challenge.

Details of the Six Nations Summer Series fixtures and locations will be confirmed in due course.
