Out of the URC games so far, Glasgow’s have lost just one whereas Scarlets have lost all six fixtures so far. Scarlets’ most recent victory at home was against Leinster in April. Glasgow will be coming in as strong favourites, having won on their last seven visits to Wales in all competitions and their last three matches against the Scarlets since 2022.

Glasgow could be without many internationalists following the autumn tests, with several high-profile players potentially being rested. Glasgow thrives on the rotation of players within the squad and could see young players such as Macenzzie Duncan and Jare Oguntibeju showing their skills and power with the resting of senior players.

Scarlets will be missing five players on international duty who are facing the Springboks on Saturday evening. Despite this and the team’s recent league form, no one would discount the drive of the squad still hunting that first win of the season.

The last outing for the two sides, saw a close counter with Glasgow emerging winners by just two points.  The game, highlighting how close the score could be, will be playing in the minds as the two sides run out on Saturday evening.
