All three Warriors in Lions squad for Waratahs clash
Sione Tuipulotu and Huw Jones are set to start together in the British & Irish Lions’ midfield for the first time as all three touring Warriors are named to face the Waratahs this Saturday.
Jones retains his starting spot at outside centre following an impressive 80-minute performance against the Queensland Red on Wednesday, scoring his first Lions try.
Having started the opening two matches of the tour at both inside and outside centre, Tuipulotu was rested for the midweek victory and returns to the side wearing the 12 jersey.
Scott Cummings also returns to the matchday 23 as one of six forwards on Andy Farrell’s bench meaning for the second time on tour all three Warriors tourists have been named in the same squad.
The match is live on Sky Sports, with kick-off scheduled for 11am Saturday 5 July.
