Following last weekend’s first home match of the season, Glasgow Warriors Women are on the road once more as they travel to Cork to face Clovers.

Four changes to the starting side comes in mainly with rotations to the bench.

Captain Ailie Tucker is joined up front by Aicha Suitcliffe and Eilidh Flemming as Katie Lindsay moves to the replacements.

Holland Bogan and Aisha Zameer are joined by Freya Walker in the back row. With Gemma Bell coming in to start with Eilidh McGilvary rotating to the bench and Emily Coubrough remains at Number 8.

Mairi McDonald will once more start as scrum-half, while Poppy Mellanby and Ceitdh Ainsworth rotate from bench to starting respectively.

Briar McNamara moves to inside centre with Orla Proctor joining her in the middle of the park.

The back three of Roma Fraser, Abi Evans and Sky Phimster remain unchanged from last week.

In the replacements, Megan Hyland and Poppy Fletcher will be looking to make an impact to the forward pack along with Katie Yeomans.

Rianna Darroch and Millie Warren complete the replacements as back-line options.

Speaking on the selection for the weekend, Head Coach Lindsey Smith said, “Travelling to Cork will be another exciting game, especially since we have yet to face the Clovers in the competition, expecting a physical battle.

“The squad performed well in some areas last week against the Wolfhounds. Our performances are building but we now need to focus on delivering an 80 minute performance and progressing on the pitch as a group.”

The game will be free to watch on Celtic Challenge Youtube Channel.
