It’s the fourth successive season that the Warriors have been represented in the league’s team of the season, and the first time in Franco Smith’s tenure as Head Coach that two Glasgow players have been included in the Elite XV.
Rowe’s inclusion comes after a season that has seen the winger showcase his skills as one of the most incisive attackers in the competition, registering six tries in the league to date this campaign.
The Scotland international leads the Warriors with 55 defenders beaten (tied for third across the BKT URC), whilst also featuring in the top 10 across the league for clean breaks (21) and metres gained (791).
McDowall’s consistency has seen the centre earn plaudits from across the BKT URC in 2025/26, the Stewartry RFC product regularly featuring amongst the top performers in the competition.
He is one of only four players across the competition to have made over 200 carries this season, whilst no Warrior has made more offloads in the BKT URC than McDowall’s tally of 14.
