Miller to captain Glasgow A in derby match

Jake Shearer will start at loosehead and is joinged by Patrick Schickerling at tighthead.  Angus Fraser joins them as hooker, following a stint in the back row in last week’s United Rugby Championship win over Ospreys.

Ryan Burke and Jare Oguntibeju combine in the second row with Dylan Cockburn and Macenzzie Duncan looking to bring their power in behind the scrum.

Captain Ally Miller starts at Number 8 and completes the forward pack.

Jack Oliver who scored on his first run out in Glasgow colours during presesonn starts as scrum half with former U20s player Matthew Urwin starting at fly half.

A centre partnership of academy prospects Kerr Yule and Kerr Johnstone, with the former having made his pro debut for Glasgow in the first round of the United Rugby Championship.

Ben Salmon and Cameron Van Wyk come in on the wing, with Fergus Watson starting at full back.

Joe Roberts, Ollie McKenna and Fin Richardson are on the bench as front row cover. With Jonny Morris being the only cover for the back row.

Brent Jackson and Duncan Weir provide cover for the scrum and fly half positions respectively with former U20 Scotland Captain Johnny Ventisei and Alex Bryden complete the replacements as centre cover.
